Job Description

The Binghamton City School District is seeking a candidate to fill the Athletic Equipment Manager position for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a stipend position. Please see the breakdown below.

Athletic Equipment Manager

Fall: August 2026–November 2026 (Stipend: $1,000)

Spring: March 2027–June 2027 (Stipend: $1,000)

Times: Varies

 

Duties:

The equipment manager will be responsible for the following:

• All aspects of taking care of three levels of football equipment and three levels of both Boys and Girls Lacrosse.
• Everything from meeting with the Athletic Director to the order needs of the different teams.
• To work directly with the coaches to provide the proper equipment that they need.
• The manager will be responsible once all equipment is issued to check in with the teams weekly, including assisting in:
  • Equipment distribution and collection.
  • Collecting and washing, folding/hanging uniforms after contests.
  • and be accessible by phone during the season

Fingerprint Clearance and New York State Mandated Workshops
