Job Description

The Binghamton City School District is seeking candidates to fill an anticipated Cook Manager opening for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time position, seven (7) hours a day, 200 days per year. 

The position involves the preparation and cooking of food and the supervision of personnel in a school lunch program. Work is performed under the general supervision of the School Food Service Director, with direct supervision over subordinate food service personnel. Performs related duties as required.

Applicants must meet the civil service requirements

• Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma
• Two (2) years of full-time satisfactory experience in preparing and serving food
