Job Description

Binghamton City School District – Binghamton, NY

The Binghamton City School District is seeking occasional van drivers to support student transportation needs. This position involves transporting students to and from school, as well as occasional midday trips, as needed. Applicants must be available for both morning and afternoon pickups. Typically, between 6:00 am and 9:00 am, and 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Although hours may vary

Additional Information:

• This is a part-time, occasional position with flexible scheduling based on district needs.
• Applicants must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work well with students of all ages.

Job Qualifications

• Must hold a valid New York State Driver’s License (Class D or higher).
• Completion of the New York State School Bus Driver Training Program (if applicable).
• Must be fingerprinted and cleared through the New York State Education Department (NYSED) as required by law.
• A clean driving record and reliable attendance are essential.
• Random drug testing required
